On Wednesday, October 19, the City of Coronado announced that the Bayshore Bikeway is closed due to construction at the Cays Entrance. The contractor is making some repairs and refinements to the concrete work. Crews also are installing truncated domes per requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act at the entry to the bike path on both sides of the entrance to the Cays. All works should be completed by Saturday, October 22. A temporary detour has been set up around the construction area and bike path users, including bicyclists, are encouraged to walk around the construction zone.
