SDNN, along with San Diego 1700 AM, will launch “A Conversation with San Diego,” a program airing 6-9 a.m. weekdays starting Monday, April 27. “I’m ecstatic to be back on radio and believe we can give San Diegans a real place to discuss all things about where people live, work and play,” said Bauer. “This town has been missing such a program for years, and I’m proud to be partnering with two, locally owned and operated media companies to bring it on air!” The show will feature a wide range of guests and experts, including editors, reporters and contributing writers of SDNN’s evolving news sections. Listeners will also be able to call in and share their views on a wide variety of topics ranging from humorous to the serious. SDNN CEO and serial entrepreneur Neil Senturia is co-hosting the show with Bauer. For several years, Senturia co-hosted a weekly radio show about entrepreneurship, I’m There for You Baby: The Entrepreneur’s Guide to the Galaxy. Bauer is one of the most recognized figures in San Diego radio history. He first appeared on the local airwaves in 1975 to team up with Mac Hudson on KFMB 760AM. Together, the team of Hudson & Bauer became the city’s longest running and most successful morning radio team.
