Captain Bill Mnich, a part-time Coronado resident and Boeing test pilot, flew the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner into San Diego earlier this morning. This is part of a two-week tour around the world. The purpose is to present the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner to suppliers, dignitaries, media and customers. Captain Bill will be spending the day giving tours and answering questions. Tomorrow, they fly to Long Beach, CA.

It would take a cast of hundreds and locations across the globe. Scientific photographers on the ground and in chase planes would capture much of the action.
