SoCal Food Tours has been providing food tours in Coronado for a year and we are expanding our business as we prepare for another fantastic summer of touring (and eating) around Coronado.
We are looking for Tour Hosts that would like to lead the three hour walking tour. This position is responsible for all aspects of an educational walking food tour.
The Tour Host will deliver educational information on nutrition, culinary nuances as well as history to a group of people as they walk the streets of Coronado. The tour consists of taking a group of people into various food establishments for a period of time to experience the food and learn about the cuisine.
The Tour Host will maintain communication with each establishment, reinforcing the partnership and keeping them up-to-date on tour visits.
We are looking for people that can work the three hour tour for Fridays 11am-2pm and Sundays 2-5pm
Qualities and skills of a So Cal Food Tour Host:
-Excellent customer service
-Enjoys talking with people and is an excellent communicator
-Able to speak clearly and confidently in front of a large group of people.
