Exhibits are placed inside tents surrounding a central gazebo, which becomes the stage for continuous entertainment, announcements and trophy presentations.

A PURCHASE WITH A PURPOSE
The Sand Dollar gift shop is a year-round NOSC Fundraising Project. All the proceeds earned from gift shop sales go back to the San Diego military community in the form of grants to local charity organizations and college scholarships to military spouses and children. In 2012, we distributed a total of $47,500 through our Charities and Scholarships programs.

The Naval Officers’ Spouses’ Club or NOSC San Diego is a wonderful organization that not only raises funds for local charities and scholarships, but provides social and cultural opportunities for military spouses living in the San Diego area. There are two Sand Dollar shops, one at Naval Medical Center San Diego and one on board NAS North Island. The merchandise is so varied, there is something for everyone. Be sure to make this part of your visit to the Flower Show.
