Learn how to paint with watercolors, or sketch your self-portrait this November. Join the Watercolor Painting class on Fridays, November 1-22, 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The cost of this class is $80 for residents and $100 for nonresidents. Sketching class is every Wednesday, November 6-20 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and the cost is $60 for residents and $75 for nonresidents. In both classes, participants will learn how to use geometric shapes, volume and lighting to create your masterpiece. Grab your pencils and brushes and get started!
Is writing your preferred medium? Turn your greatest memories and life experiences into a short story or poem in the Everybody Has a Story writing class on Wednesdays, November 6 – December 18, 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Whether you are a seasoned writer, or a beginner with a desire to get your words and ideas on the page, this class is for you. This class is $50 for residents and $62 for nonresidents.
Do you love flowers? In the hands-on Floral Design class on Monday, November 25, 2:30-4:30 p.m. you’ll make a Thanksgiving centerpiece in autumn tones featuring sunflowers, mums, roses, and accenting greenery. This is not your basic ‘flowers in a vase’ class, so be prepared to take your floral artistry to a new level. Floral Design is $35 for residents and $45 for nonresidents, plus a $25 materials fee.
