Coronado Public Library Offering Free Online Courses

The Coronado Public Library is pleased to announce that it has acquired Gale Courses from the Gale Group, a major supplier of electronic and print resources to Public Libraries.

  • Anyone with a Coronado library card can access instructor-led, online courses through the library’s website www.coronado.ca.us/library with no cost to card holder.
  • Access to hundreds of free online courses covering everything from health and wellness, creative writing, computer programming, GED test prep and much more!
  • Continuous enrollment dates, for six week classes beginning every month.
  • Entirely web-based with professional instructors to help you and give feedback.
  • Courses developed by expert instructors many of them working at universities around the country.

To access Gale Courses, go to www.coronado.ca.us/library. Simply click on the Gale Courses icon to start the enrollment process. Participants can enroll and “attend” courses on their home computers.
