Cops and Robbers: Two Diamond Jewelry Thefts (6/24/19-7/11/19)

Crimes:

7/7/19: Battery near 400 block of Orange Avenue

Suspect and victim were roommates. The suspect punched the victim in the face while verbally abusing him as well.

7/5/19: Burglary of the First Degree near 700 block of G Avenue

Unknown suspect entered victim’s kitchen through an unlocked back door, took her purse off a wall hanger adjacent to the door, and fled undetected from the scene. The suspect then used victim’s debit and credit cards to make several fraudulent purchases.

7/4/19: Grand Theft near 1500 block of Orange Avenue

Unknown suspect took the victim’s purse and its contents. The stolen items are valued at $5,200.

7/4/19: Grand Theft Property near 1500 block of Orange Avenue

Victim reported that an unknown suspect cut his bicycle lock and took his Specialized Epic-Expert Mountain Bicycle. The bike is valued at over $2,000.

7/4/19: Malicious Mischief/Vandalism (Misdemeanor) near 200 block of Ocean Drive

Unknown suspect used a black marker to write “poems poems poems” on Coronado City Lifeguard Tower 6C.

7/4/19: Petty Theft near 1700 block of Avenida De Las Arenas

Unknown suspect took the victim’s wallet and its contents. The stolen property is collectively valued at approximately $98.

7/3/19: Robbery of the Second Degree near 2000 block of Visalia Row

Unknown suspect stole a diamond bracelet from victim’s wrist while they were dancing. The bracelet was valued at $12,477.

6/28/19-6/29/19: Petty Theft near 900 block of Fifth Street

Unknown suspect stole the victim’s unlocked bicycle. The bike is valued at approximately $400.

6/24/19: Grand Theft Property near 500 block of D Avenue

Suspect and victim were in a prior dating relationship and lived together. Victim discovered a diamond ring missing after suspect moved to New Jersey. The stolen ring was valued at $5,800.

7/9/19: Petty Theft – Misdemeanor near 1800 block of Silver Strand Boulevard

63 year old male

7/4/19: Battery on Emergency Personnel – Misdemeanor near 1100 block of Pine Street

35 year old male

7/4/19: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol – Misdemeanor near 200 block of C Avenue

58 year old male

6/29/19: Disorderly Conduct Due to Alcohol – Misdemeanor near 1000 block of Ocean Boulevard
