Coronado Beaches Closed on Easter Weekend Due to Sewage Pollution

As of Monday morning, April 5, SDBeachInfo.com showed green for Coronado beaches.



On Saturday morning of Easter weekend, under clear, sunny skies, our beaches have just been closed for going into the ocean water as a result of high levels of pollution from Mexico. Brad Willis was at Dog Beach this morning when the closure was issued and shares this announcement from the Coronado Lifeguards:

Closures as of 12 noon on Saturday, April 3, 2021 according to San Diego County.
