This holiday season Loews Coronado Bay Resort invites travelers to eat, drink, and be merry with Holiday Cocoa + Cocktails. Featuring creative spins on everyone’s favorite holiday libation, the limited-time treats will serve up sweet variations of cocoa for kids and creative cocoa-themed cocktails for adults. Beginning Sunday, December 1, 2019 through New Year’s Day, a specialty cocktail will be available at the Silver Strand Exchange Bar at Loews Coronado Bay Resort.
The season will be in full swing as the Loews Hotel’s culinary team puts their own locally inspired twist on the holiday classic. Cocoa will be offered in two variations: one for kids – as well as one for adults. Loews Coronado Bay Resort created The Healing Spinnaker, which includes Malahat Distillery spiced rum, half and half, bittersweet chocolate syrup and iced coffee priced at $16. The kid-friendly cocoa will be offered complimentary with the purchase of a “spiked” cocoa for adults.

At H2 Kitchen and Bar at Loews Hollywood Hotel, guests can order a Mezcali Me Cinnamon created with homemade spicy hot chocolate, mezcal, Baileys, chili powder and cocoa nibs priced at $16. BarBelle and Blue Streak at Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel, right by the Pacific Ocean, has crafted the Coastal Chill, made with Patron XO, Ibarra chocolate, and milk topped off with a cinnamon sugar rim priced at $14.
