SDGMC

The John D. Spreckels Center is pleased to announce the inaugural event in the Spreckels Music Series. On Thursday, October 10, 6 – 8:15 pm, 35 members of the San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus will perform selections from Motown and The Music of Cher, two of their previous concerts. The event will be held at the John D. Spreckels Center, located at 1019 Seventh St. Under the leadership of Artistic Director RC Haus and Executive Director Jeff Heine, the San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus is celebrating its 34th anniversary of changing lives one voice at a time. With more than 300 members, it is one of the largest gay choruses in the world and has sung at locations including the White House, the Super Bowl and Lincoln Center. The Chorus performs in front of tens of thousands of San Diegans each year including sold-out shows at the historic Balboa Theatre in downtown San Diego. The group’s official mission is to create a positive musical experience through exciting performances that engage audiences, build community support and provide a dynamic force for social change. Come out for a positive musical performance that is sure to entertain and inspire!
