The City of Coronado Recreation and Golf Services is currently accepting applications for summer staff to work at their day camps and other youth recreation programs. Recreation Leaders and Assistants will work as a camp counselor, skatepark mentor or adventure guide.
Do something that matters this summer! Instill the confidence in a child to try attack a new challenge and try something that they never thought they could. Help to foster friendships between campers and foster your own friendships with fellow counselors. These jobs are fun, mostly outdoors and rewarding.
As a camp counselors you will learn group communication skills, how to be a team player, creative thinking and problem solving. This job offers you the chance to show off your strengths and overcome your weaknesses all while you put some play in your workday! Another added benefit for all City of Coronado employees is free use of the community center pool and fitness center during off work hours.
