Once a year, MainStreet hosts a Party in the Garden that raises funds to support revitalization and beautification projects. These include Coronado’s signature Orange Avenue Gardens, an award-winning trademark of our downtown. These 16 gardens represent MainStreet’s on-going commitment to beautify and enhance the color and vibrancy in the heart of town. The creation, installation, maintenance and replanting of this “sustainable” art is the responsibility of Coronado MainStreet, a non-profit organization dedicated to the health of our commercial areas. In addition, MainStreet remains a steadfast advocate for preserving Coronado’s charm, vitality and history.
This year the Party will be held in Josh & Jaelyn Frey’s beautiful gardens at 760 Country Club Lane.
The friendly gathering will feature live music featuring local musician Tony Palkovic, a no-host bar, wine tasting, brew from Coronado Brewing Company and local Chefs serving their specialties. There will be a Silent Auction featuring donations from Coronado businesses.
The Hotel del Coronado is again a major sponsor of the Garden Party along with local restaurants, realtors, banks and merchants. The City-wide participation and support demonstrates how important our downtown is to the community.
The Coronado MainStreet Ltd. Board of Directors invites the community to spend an entertaining summer evening in Coronado, visit with new and old friends and support the MainStreet Gardens year-round.
