Crimes:
1/17/18: Burglary of the Second Degree near 400 block of B Avenue
Unknown suspect used an unknown tool to break the back left passenger window to the victim’s sedan and stole a Dell laptop computer. The total loss of the computer is $50.
1/16/18-1/17/18: Burglary of the Second Degree near 500 block of Pomona Avenue
Unknown suspect entered the victim’s locked vehicle by breaking the front passenger window using an unknown tool. The suspect took a black Pelican case containing two wooden valets, five paperweights, and ten baseball caps. The total loss was estimated at $510. The cost to repair the window was estimated at $150.
1/16/18: Petty Theft near 600 block of H Avenue
Unknown suspect stole the victim’s wallet, which he had left on the floorboard between the front seats of his unlocked work van, and which was subsequently found in the alley behind the location.
1/16/18: Petty Theft near 500 block of F Avenue
Unknown suspect took the victim’s unlocked bicycle from the bicycle racks at the location. There were no suspects seen. The value of the bicycle was approximately $400.
1/16/18: Petty Theft near 600 block of D Avenue
Unknown suspect took victim’s locked bicycle and left the area. The estimated loss is $430.
1/15/18-1/16/18: Grand Theft of Firearm near 800 block of E Avenue
Unknown suspect entered an unlocked vehicle in the parking garage at the location. Suspect took a backpack from the rear cargo compartment that contained a handgun and other personal property.
1/11/18: Petty Theft near 900 block of D Avenue
Unknown suspect took the victim’s bicycle from a communal shed. The victim does not know if the shed was locked, as several people have the combination to the lock securing the shed. The total approximate loss is $250.
