StockTwits Inc., the largest and best known social platform for investors and traders announced that it will partner with Modern Trader magazine to present Stocktoberfest 2016. Stocktoberfest is the year’s premiere gathering of active traders, investors, Fintech entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and financial media.
Stocktoberfest, originally conceived by Howard Lindzon, co-founder and Chairman of StockTwits, is historically held at the iconic Hotel del Coronado in Coronado, California. The event features top names in trading and investing, fintech, and financial media as both presenters and attendees.
This year’s theme of the show will be “Why it’s never been a better time to be an active investor.” About the topic, Lindzon says in his blog post: “You have to know where to look and who to follow…enjoy the process of thinking, and practice the art of money management.”
