Art in the Park will run from 8 AM to 4 PM in Spreckels Park.  In the afternoon, the Star Wars Society will be available for photos and questions in Star Park following the parade.

At 4 PM, the Concert in the Park will begin in Spreckels Park. The Coronado Community Concert Band will provide the music.  The day’s finale, the fireworks over Glorietta Bay, will start at 9 PM.  Music accompanying the fireworks display will be by KyXy 96.5.

Coronado 4th of July Committee Seeks Funds

Coronado’s 68th annual Fourth of July celebration is closing in on us.  The theme for this year’s celebration is “America’s Celebration.”  The 4th of July Committee, chaired by David Szymanski, is seeking monetary donations to defray the day’s costs.  The daylong event cost about $60,000 for the 2015 festivities and the Committee expects this year’s events to be similar in expenses.

The Committee is grateful for the grants from the City of Coronado and the Port of San Diego.  The remainder of the expenses for the parade are generated from generous private donors.

What can you do to help?  Please consider sending a donation to the Committee and help us make the 68th annual parade and day’s celebration another great occasion.

Three specific categories are available:
