CORONADO, CA (December 8, 2015) – The City of Coronado will observe the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays on Friday, December 25, and Friday, January 1, and reminds residents and businesses that some municipal facilities will remain open and some will close.
Coronado Police and Fire will be staffed for the holidays. Public Services will be on call over the holidays to respond to emergencies.
Certain City of Coronado departments and services will close early on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Public Services crews will NOT sweep streets on either holiday. EDCO will NOT perform regular residential trash collection on Christmas Day or New Year’s. The Golf Course will be open on both holidays and the Skatepark will be open from 1 p.m. to dusk only on New Year’s Day.
