eCoronado.com broke the news last month about Coronado’s newest restaurant, Shima (located at 126 Orange Avenue). Shima means “island” in Japanese and they are serving sushi, entertaining groups with their teppanyaki chefs cooking right at your table and have a full bar. Their soft opening was this weekend and are now officially open to the public. You might recognize their founder, Tim Aaron, also owns Nicky Rottens a few doors down and promises good food and good times for the entire family.
Shima will be taking reservations later this week using OpenTable, but you can walk in for lunch or dinner.
