Last week, we got together with friends from London. They were staying in La Jolla. We encouraged them to visit us in Coronado. You might think – what don’t they have in London? Well they don’t have San Diego Bay. They don’t have a lovely Tuscan restaurant (Il Fornaio) with an outdoor patio that has a perfect view of the Bay and the variety of watercraft using it. We saw a large navy ship come in, passing right in front of us, as well as jet skis, fishing boats,and numerous sailboats. Then on the bike/pedestrian path in front of us, we saw stand up bikes, racing bikes, joggers, Segways, walkers, in line skaters – a lot of people enjoying our wonderful location with perfect weather.
In addition to the show going on in front of them, we all had a wonderful meal. They can’t wait to come back – and I can’t wait to show them a lot more of wonderful Coronado – a village that is uniquely wonderful.
