Community Voices: Should Coronado City Council Restore Railcar from National City & Otay Railway?

Created/Submitted by Harold Myers:

Will one of our parks or the median be used to commemorate the history of National City? This video is about a proposal to restore a railroad car even though it never ran as scheduled train in Coronado. The railcar was part of the National City & Otay Railway and not part of the Coronado Railroad Company. The twin to this railcar has been restored and is in National City. The issue could be before the City Council by December 16, 2014. This video is best watched full screen to view the photos. You can hit “pause” to read the newsprint.

Partial list of sources I researched. Perhaps others will expand on my research. You may have to paste some of the links.
