“I want businesses to really jump in to support the schools this year”, says Cindy. “I have no kids in the schools, yet I see the importance of creating partnerships with CSF and the local schools as they combat budget cuts and strive to continue the excellence our schools have to offer.”

From fundraising throughout the 2013-14 school year, CSF has returned over $725,000 again this year to our Coronado public schools. “With the change in the state funding due to the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) that puts Coronado in the lowest 8% of school district funding across the state, our schools need an additional $1,200/child to make up the shortfall. We appreciate businesses like Coronado Bliss who stepped up to increase their support by 75% for the upcoming Auction and school year.
