Saints Summer Lacrosse Club is looking for three more players to round out our roster for the upcoming boys’ middle school tournament at SDSU Aug. 2 – 3. (You have to be under 15 and/or have never played high school lacrosse to participate.) Coach Mike Kidd (see his bio below) will lead four lesson/practice sessions Monday – Thursday, July 28 – 31, 3:30 to 5:30 PM, here on the island, and the Great Western Lacrosse tournament will include six games over the course of Sat. and Sun., Aug. 2 – 3.
Coach Kidd is known for bringing both life and lacrosse lessons to his teams, helping players identify personal goals and achieve individual as well as team excellence.

About Coach Mike Kidd
Mike Kidd and his staff provide a unique lacrosse experience to both players and parents. His focus is TRANSFORMATION – an experience where a TEAM achieves a level of success beyond expectation. His coaching style brings to life his mantra: Do something GREAT. Play with CLASS.
Mike grew up playing in the youth leagues in Maryland, started for national powerhouse, St. Mary’s H.S. in Annapolis, and achieved his goal to play Division I lacrosse by starting for Dartmouth College. He has been coached by Hall of Fame coaches at every level and has himself coached at Gonzaga H.S. in Washington, D.C. as well as at the youth levels in Northern Virginia and Coronado.
As such, Mike has been around great lacrosse either as a player or coach for a very long time (36 years). His goal is to share his experiences – to pass along to his players a flavor for what it takes to be great in lacrosse. Whether they achieve greatness is up to them.
Mike is president of KiddGlobal Marketing Consulting, a company that specializes in brand strategies, enterprise websites, product marketing, and content marketing strategies for technology companies. Mike and his family live in Coronado.
