The latest parking lot to offer paid public parking is Albertsons located at 150 B Avenue. The join the ranks of Vons, Coronado Ferry Landing, Walgreens and Union Bank who have all added similar fees over the last year. Customers get 60 minutes for free, but non-customers will have to pay $5 for the first two hours and $10 for up to 4 hours.
As Summer approaches in Coronado, street parking spots (free) are going to be in high demand. Expect to see more residents and visitors seeking residential parking spaces to avoid these fees.
