At approximately 10:15 a.m. this morning, police were called to the area of Star Park Circle for a report of a man attempting to lure a young girl into his vehicle. The 8 year old girl reported that while she was roller blading, a man driving the wrong way in Star Park Circle, pulled up next to her, got out of his vehicle, and told her to get in to his van. Although the man yelled at the girl he did not make any attempt to contact her physically. The girl was able to skate home where she then told her mother about the incident.
The man is being described as a Hispanic male adult, 6′, large build with a big belly. He had a tattoo of a dragon or snake on his right arm and he was last seen wearing a yellow t-shirt and blue jeans. He was driving a red van with a partial license plate of 773. There was also a black and white dog inside the vehicle.
