Join two daring life coaches, June Bayha and Wendy Kranz, on November 17 for a day of skydiving, good eats and new friends. Plus, June and Wendy will host TeleJump coaching calls to prepare you for the dive and help you create lasting change.
Why June Jumped
For years, I wanted to go skydiving. Then I had kids and I firmly believed that responsible mothers do not skydive. I told this to my life coach and she said, “Is that true?” Well, of course not. Driving a car is probably more dangerous than tandem skydiving.
With this in mind, I called Skydive San Diego and booked my dive. I went by myself on January 7, 2012. I remember being in the airplane, totally exhilarated. I was strapped to my instructor, the plane went up to 13,000 feet, and we just dived in. During the 120 mph one-minute free fall, all I could think was, “This is frickin’ amazing. I can do anything.” See for yourself.
After my jump, I headed to the Carnitas Snack Shack for a delicious lunch. I posted photos on Facebook and right away had friends telling me that they wanted to go too. The biggest surprise was that my 73 year-old mother wants to skydive! So we are organizing a group jump for Saturday, November 17th.
What Wendy Wants
Earlier this year, I traveled to South Africa for a safari. This trip made me realize that I am craving more adventure in my life. Encountering wild leopards, lions and elephants up close has inspired me to see more places and try bold, new things. Skydiving delivers on all fronts! I’ve jumped out of a plane before, but have not experienced free fall. Answering the call to adventure makes me feel alive and that makes life pretty damn sweet.
