The initial open house meeting of the Visual and Literary Arts Committee of the Coronado Cultural Arts Commission (CAC) will be held from 2-4pm on Feb.27th.
The mission of this committee is to provide direction and support for the development and presentation of a variety of visual arts througout the city and to create opportunities to showcase local galleries and encourage emergin artists.
Possible Ideas:
-Develop a data base of local and regional artists
-Inventory and identify sites for visual arts exhibitions and presentations
-Coordinate with local galleries to raise awareness of available quality art for sale here
At this meeting local artists, gallery owners and members of our community who are interested in the visual arts are invited to stop by to meet and discuss ideas for future developments.
The meeting will be hosted by the committee chair, local artist and CAC Commissioner, Doris Besikof.
