CORONADO A trash truck clipped an overhead power line in Coronado Wednesday morning, knocking out power to about 21 customers, a utility spokeswoman said.
The outage was reported on C Avenue near 10th Street around 9:30 a.m., said San Diego Gas & Electric Co. spokeswoman Allison Zaragoza. The truck hit a secondary wire that carries power from the
power pole to the customer, Zaragoza said.
Crews were repairing a transformer fuse and as of noon, a handful of customers in the area were still without electricity, she said.
