FILM FORUM CORONADO: “Past Lives”

Coronado Public Library, in partnership with the Coronado Island Film Festival, presents FILM FORUM CORONADO, taking place the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. in the library’s Winn Room. Film expert Ralph DeLauro provides a brief introduction to each film and leads a discussion afterwards, often including pointers about how lighting or camera angles contribute to a scene’s mood or propel the story.
February 5: Past Lives (2023, PG-13, 106 min)
Celine Song weaves her discreet magic in a sweeping romance that explores lost loves, changing identities and the road not taken. As fate reunites two childhood sweethearts for a week in NYC, the couple must grapple with issues of destiny and divergent life choices. With Emily Cass McDonnell, Greta Lee and John Magaro.
