On Saturday, June 3, the group Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, held an “Orange Walk” in Coronado’s Tidelands Park.
Sarah Jones, Coronado resident, Navy spouse, mother, and a member of Everytown/Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America explains that the group is “a volunteer group dedicated to reducing gun violence in our country. It is a non-partisan, nationwide movement to honor the victims and survivors of gun violence in America and educate and advocate for reducing gun violence.”
Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America / Coronado Rally
#TeamApplegate was proud to honor a long-standing commitment to attend the Coronado rally for Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America. We #wearorange to remember Hadiya Pendleton, who was killed in 2013, just weeks after performing in President Obama's inauguration. Thank you to the local Brady Campaign for the invite, your friendship, and for your leadership in our community on this important issue.
