Loews Coronado Bay Resort announces Dean Griffin as new Hotel Manager

Hotel Manager, Dean Griffin, oversees rooms and food & beverage operations at Loews Coronado Bay Resort. He joins Loews Hotels with more than 16 years of experience in hotel operations, most recently as the Director of Operations at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe.

“I’m delighted to welcome Dean Griffin to our senior leadership team at Loews Coronado Bay Resort as our Hotel Manager. I’ve been fortunate to work with Dean previously, and know him as a passionate hotelier committed to creating exceptional experiences for our guests and team members,” said Sean Clancy, Loews Coronado Bay Resort Managing Director.

GriffinÂ’s career began with key resort operations roles at prestigious Arizona hotels, including the Intercontinental Montelucia Resort & Spa, The Arizona Biltmore, a Waldorf Astoria Resort, and The Ritz-Carlton, Phoenix. A native of Arizona, he met his wife Stephanie while obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management at Northern Arizona University. They now have two sons, Tyler 9 and Dylan 7. Griffin served on the Board of Directors for the Youth Evaluation Treatment Center and has worked with various charities throughout his career.
