At the June 17 Coronado Democratic Club General Meeting, area candidates running for their seat had an opportunity to speak (or a surrogate spoke on their behalf). Registered Club members voted unanimously to endorse several incumbents:
- Representative Scott Peters, Member of Congress
- Supervisor Terra Lawson-Remer, San Diego County Supervisor
- Trustee Kris Galicia Brown, Southwestern College Board of Trustees
The next general meeting of the Coronado Democratic Club will be held on August 17, 2024 at 10:30 am in the Winn Room, Coronado Public Library. Members of the public are invited to attend. This engaging meeting is set to provide insightful analysis and non-partisan discussion on the upcoming ballot propositions.
The program will feature a detailed presentation by the club’s Public Policy Committee, covering the various propositions that will appear on the November ballot. This discussion aims to equip attendees with a clear understanding of what each proposition entails, fostering informed voting decisions.
This event is an excellent opportunity for voters of all perspectives to gain a balanced view of the critical issues facing our community and state in the upcoming elections. The presentation will be strictly non-partisan, focusing solely on the facts and implications of each proposition.
Admission is free and open to all who are interested in learning more about the propositions and their potential impact on our community.
