Summaries: -11 arrests (8 are DUIs) -7 bikes stolen (all were unlocked) Editor’s Note: Lock up your bikes Coronado! -4 traffic collisions April 26 -Grand theft of large bronze urn ($5,000) from living room of house (400 block A Ave.) -Alcohol DUI misdemeanor with .08% alcohol level (300 block Glorietta Blvd.) April 28 -Arrest on outstanding warrant/misdemeanor (800 block Pomona) April 29 -Theft from dependent adult. Man deceived victim into wiring $800 for shipping/insurance payment on fictitious sweepstakes -Making/passing counterfeit bill to Bistro. Owner did not notice until Chase bank teller brought it to his attention at time of deposit. -Vandalism- graffiti on bathroom with blue marker (900 Ocean) -Grand theft of firearm- unknown suspect took victim’s gun from home (1500 block 1st St.) May 1 -Arrest disorderly conduct alcohol (800 block Orange Ave) -Arrest drunk protective custody (400 block F Ave.) -Vandalism where suspect threw rock at moving vehicle and caused dent -Burglary where suspect entered victim’s locked car and attempted to start the car with a screwdriver type tool. Suspect stole property from car and fled. (900 block 8th St.) -Vehicle stolen from metered parking on Isabella Ave. May 2 -Arrest disorderly conduct alcohol (D Ave alley) – Misc. reports- unknown suspects tampered with multiple vehicles between 400-500 G Ave. Cars were ransacked, but nothing stolen. – Burglary where suspect entered underground condo parking, broke windows of locked car, stole property and fled. May 3 -Arrest disorderly conduct alcohol (100 block I Ave.) -Juvenile contact violation of curfew (300 block Pomona) -Arrest drunk protective custody (100 block D Ave.)
