Celebrate 100 Years of Aviation with Helicopter Officers’ Spouses’ Club Luncheon
CORONADO A luncheon in honor of the 100th anniversary of naval aviation will be held May 10 sponsored by the Helicopter Officers’ Spouses’ Club (HOSC). This exciting celebration will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at La Terrazza Ristorante, 1309 Orange Avenue and is open to everyone, civilian and military alike.
The guest speaker is Captain Judy Myers, USN (ret), wife of Commander, Naval Air Forces. “The Centennial of Naval Aviation commemorates 100 years of dedication and valor of aviators, air crew and the Sailors who kept the aircraft ready and safe for flight. The celebration would be incomplete however, without acknowledging the commitment and sacrifices made by their families. Naval Aviation’s rich legacy and operational superiority has been underscored by steadfast support from communities across our nation and the unique contributions of Navy families.” This gathering continues to honor the birthplace of aviation in conjunction with the National Helicopter Association’s annual symposium which takes place from May 9th to 13th here in San Diego.
For more information on this event or to purchase a $30 ticket to attend, please email your request to [email protected]. All reservations and payment made out to HOSC must be submitted and sent c/o HOSC Luncheon 739 J Avenue, Coronado, CA 92118 by April 25.
