San Diego Loyal Soccer Club knows just how good it feels to have loyal supporters, and in turn they are showing their support for Coronado restaurants by offering $500-worth of prizes for the Chamber’s latest round of Coronado Take-Out Bingo!
As they say, “There are a lot of heroes in our community making an essential difference during this crisis. We wanted to support their efforts and show them our appreciation for their loyal dedication. It’s all about coming together!”
Having launched in June 2019, this premier professional men’s soccer club had just played their inaugural game against the Las Vegas Lights when the shelter-in-place orders were announced. With all group activities postponed, the 24-strong team have been turning their attention to positive action the community, already raising $5,500 for Feeding San Diego, the leading local hunger-relief charity.
San Diego Loyal has a special fondness for Coronado and our iconic Bay Bridge is represented in the top arc of their crest, with an anchor at the base. You will find this cool orange and teal emblem on all the gifts we have for you, from t-shirts to clip-on car flags, magnets and stickers.
The t-shirts come in two color options – fresh white or emerald green with HERE TO PLAY emblazoned on the front and a list of the original match dates on the back, making it something of a collector’s item! Sizes range from S to XL.
Unlike on the soccer field, everyone is a winner in this game – every person who submits an entry to our Coronado Take-Out Bingo game will receive a handy credit card-sized hand sanitizer branded with the San Diego Loyal crest. Its slimline form is perfect for pockets and offers a blast of peach-scented purification!
The top prize – for the entry scoring closest to a blackout or full house – includes a full set of merchandise including t-shirt, flag, magnet and sticker plus a gray and black trucker cap featuring the San Diego Loyal crest. And that’s on top of a selection of restaurant gift cards and an Orange Ave beach towel!
With a May 1st entry deadline, there’s still time to enjoy delicious take-out from our participating restaurants. You could even collect the required 5+ receipts in one day! Start with coffee at Café 1134, Bay Books Café or Amalo Brew, take out lunch from Yummy Sushi, Night & Day, Burger Lounge or Garage Buona Forchetta, get an afternoon immunity-boosting shot from Juice Crafters or a refreshing sorbet from Nado Gelato and then order dinner from Crown Bistro, Nado Republic, Bistro D’Asia or the Coronado Brewing Company! Gift card receipts also count if you think you might burst from all those goodies!
