Junior Engineering Workshop at the Library November 21

Engineering for Kids San Diego will hold a second junior engineering workshop on Thursday, November 21 at 3:30 pm. Students in grades 2nd through 5th will design and test their own egg vehicle* to withstand a drop from a height and then a crushing blow from above. They will learn about forces and how good design can minimize the effects.
*No real eggs will be harmed in the execution of this task.

Advance registration to participate is required, please call the library at 619-522-7390 to register for this hands-on learning experience.

Engineering for Kids San Diego has designed this free junior engineering program for elementary school students to learn science and collaboration skills in a fun and safe environment. This activity will take place in the Ruby Room.
