Coronado’s Celtic Corner to Host Pipes & Poetry Aug 2nd


Join Celtic Corner, also known as Scottish Treasures, on Saturday, August 2, 2014, from 1-5pm when they host author and bagpiper Robert Burns, who will entertain on his bagpipes and sign his book “Affairs of the Heart & Soul” a poetic autobiography.

The book is a collection of 132 romantic love poems written over a span of 32 years. It speaks to everyone who has ever

loved, lost, and dared to love again. Robert Burns will also perform traditional Scottish and Irish tunes on the Great Highland Bagpipe during the afternoon. He performs for many groups, individuals, in sessions, and as a member of the Cameron Highlanders Pipe Band. His primary piping interests are auld-style Scottish and Irish step dance tunes.

The afternoon will also include refreshments. Stop by the shop for a bit of Scottish hospitality and to meet Robert Burns and hear him entertain us on the bagpipes.
