Beat the heat at the Village Theater with a showing of Dolphin Tale 2. It is perfect for all ages and is a truly inspiring movie. Winter, the dolphin and main character, is the face of the Clearwater Marine hospital, and loves putting on show; until the day comes when his surrogate mother, Panama, passes away.
After Panama’s death Winter will not eat, play with the trainers, or put on her prosthetic fin. As a result of Panama’s death, Winter becomes depressed and the hospital in violation with the USDA because dolphins are not allowed to be kept in a pool by themselves. Clearwater needs to find a new female dolphin soon; otherwise they risk of losing Winter to a new aquarium. Once again, Winter demonstrates that if you are willing to fight, you can overcome any challenge or loss.
Movie goer Madie Hill said “The movie had the same inspirational spark as the first one. The pelican kept me laughing, and I want a third movie so they can expand on Hazel and Sawyers obvious feelings for each other.”
