The Coronado Surfing Association (CSA), in conjunction with the Islanders Ladies Club, recently awarded scholarships to five Coronado High School seniors.
This year’s recipients were Daniel Vinegrad, Dhara Jost, Kalista Searles, Bohlen Wagner, and Jack Marovish.
The awards were presented by CSA board members Rodger Welch and Tim Casey, along with Monika Peneku representing the Islanders Ladies Club. Coach Santi Girault and the students’ families were also in attendance to show their support.
