Marines Visit Glorietta Bay Inn for Toys for Tots Donation

Two of San Diego’s Marines were deployed to pick up a large donation for their “Toys for Tots” Campaign at Glorietta Bay Inn on Coronado Island last Friday, December 6, 2019. Glorietta Bay Inn’s General Manager, Claudia Ludlow, took the opportunity to thank the Marines for their service and her hotel team helped pack them all into a large truck, after the photo highlighting the hundreds of toys and bicycles was taken. The Marines delivered these to a centralized San Diego location where families will be able to select toys to make their children’s Holidays brighter.

“We are thrilled to join our Kamla for Hope family in this great tradition. Our staff takes pride in what they do, and being a part of this local special event reminds us what the holiday season is all about. We are excited to continue the tradition for future years, said Ms. Ludlow”. This is the fifth year that Kamla for Hope, the philanthropy division of Kamla Hotels, has participated with the Marines and “Toys for Tots” with donations from all of the portfolio of hotels in California. The Marines were delighted with the number of toys collected and thanked the team for their donations. They noted that these toys will be given to families in the San Diego area, helping specifically in the local region.

Many of the boxes were still full of toys to illustrate just how many were actually donated. The Corporate Team selected toys for each age group and for boys and girls to be sure all children would be represented in this “Toys for Tots” Donation.
