Urban Solace’s Bluegrass Brunch returns for a pop-up service at Leroy’s Kitchen + Lounge in Coronado on Sunday, November 24, 2019, from 10 am-3 pm as part of the newly added themed brunch event series at Leroy’s Kitchen + Lounge.
Leroy’s Kitchen + Lounge Executive Chef Ronnie Schwandt adds another layer to the neighborhood favorite weekend brunch with themed brunches continuously elevating the brunch scene in San Diego. Joining Blue Bridge Hospitality earlier this year as Vice President of Operations, Matt Gordon is the perfect guest in his kitchen as Leroy’s Kitchen + Lounge pays homage to the famed Urban Solace Bluegrass Brunch come November 24th.
Bluegrass Brunch… with a Leroy’s twang I November 24 Live bluegrass band Plow will join Gordon once again along with their mandolin and banjo from 11am-2pm. Menu highlights include Urban Solace’s Cinnamon Rolls topped with a butter pecan sauce, crunchy pecans, and cream cheese frosting, ever-popular pork belly hash, and shrimp & grits along with Leroy’s favorites: monkey bread, breakfast burger, and beer-infused green mole chilaquiles.
Wetting the Brunch-goers’ whistles a Southern Black Russian and a Balsamic Roasted Peach Bourbon Smash will be added to the cocktail menu along with mimosa kits, and Leroy’s signature sangria.
Brunch at Night I Thursday, November 21 Why wait until the weekend? Brunch at Night kicks off on Thursday, November 21 as Chef Ronnie flips the pancakes for Brunch at Night. Starting at 5 pm, the bloody marys and mimosas will be pouring for a twist on our weekend brunch. Brunch for Dinner all night long.
Coming off the heels of the Craft Beer Brunch series that occurs every 4th Saturday of the month, Chef Ronnie ‘s relationships with brewmasters from Green Flash Brewing, Fall Brewing, JuneShine, Societe Brewing, Mike Hess, and most recently, the Second Chance Brewing, infused Breakfast Poutine made with Saison+ Pilsner Gravy, bacon and sunny side eggs. But he’s just getting started.
