NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at 10 am in the Campus Center Chamber of the County Operations Center, 5520 Overland Avenue, San Diego, CA 92123, a public TRUTH Act Community Forum will be held, during a Regular Meeting of the Board of Supervisors, pursuant to Government Code section 7283.1(d). The purpose of the Transparent Review of Unjust Transfers and Holds (“TRUTH”) Act Community Forum is to provide information regarding Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) access to individuals and to receive and consider public comment, pursuant to Government Code Sections 7283 and 7283.1.
Those wishing to comment may either appear in person at the public forum or submit written comments, which must be received by the County prior to the forum. Written comments should be sent to the CLERK OF THE BOARD, 1600 Pacific Highway, Room 402, San Diego, CA 92101, or may be submitted online through the Clerk of the Board’s eComment system at www.sandiegocob.com following the posting of the meeting agenda
Spanish translation services will be provided during the TRUTH Act Community Forum. Any member of the public who requires translation services in a language other than Spanish must contact the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors at (619) 531-5434 by November 8, 2019.
