National Charity League, Inc. Seaside Chapter Celebrates Mothers and Daughters’ Community Service and Kicks Off Membership Drive

National Charity League Seaside ChapterThe National Charity League, Inc. (NCL) Seaside Chapter held its 4th Annual Mother Daughter Tea – Blossoms in Bloom – on October 14, 2018 at the La Jolla Woman’s Club. The tea is an annual tradition, dating back to 1948 when NCL was founded, and is a required, signature event for the Chapter. The NCL Seaside Chapter is three years old and has 230 members who contributed more than 4,300 hours of service to the San Diego community in 2017-2018.

Mother and daughter members of the NCL Seaside Chapter focus on hands-on volunteer opportunities in the community and volunteer at 25 nonprofit organizations countywide. NCL Seaside is creating a culture of members dedicated to philanthropic work and to teaching their daughters the value of giving back. The NCL Seaside Chapter is a part of the greater National Charity League organization, which fosters mother-daughter relationships in a philanthropic organization committed to community service, leadership development, and cultural experiences.
