Cops and Robbers: Shoplifting at Boney’s Bayside Market (10/23/18-11/1/18)

Thanks to the Coronado Police Department for providing The Coronado Times with the below information (partial list):

Crimes:

11/1/18: Battery near 900 block of Orange Avenue

Subject was in an argument with an employee from Coronado’s Ace Hardware store. During the altercation, the employee threw a roll of duct tape that the subject had purchased at the subject, striking his right middle finger.

10/30/18: Petty Theft near 900 block of C Avenue

Unknown suspect stole the victim’s rolling backpack and its contents from the front lawn of the location. The total loss value is approximately $706.

10/29/18: Burglary of the Second Degree near 600 block of Orange Avenue

Unknown suspect used forced entry to gain access inside the location during closed business hours and a silver weight scale was stolen.

10/28/18: Shoplifting near 100 block of Orange Avenue

Unknown male suspect entered Boney’s Bayside Market and selected a variety of food products and exited the market, failing to pay for the merchandise.

10/28/18: Petty Theft near 600 block of Orange Avenue

Unknown suspect used an unknown cutting tool to cut the bike lock on the victim’s bicycle and then fled with it in an unknown direction. The bike was valued at $260.

10/26/18-10/27/18: Using Another’s Personal Identification near 400 block of Orange Avenue

Victim was alerted that numerous emails were sent to dozens of people from a prior work email address that should not have been active. The victim then received an alert that there was activity associated to her social security number and learned that an unknown address in National City had been used to possibly try and obtain credit. At the time of the report, there has been no monetary loss and no known new accounts of credit.

10/24/18-10/29/18: Petty Theft near 1500 block of First Avenue

Victim reported his secured mountain bike stolen from the bike rack outside of the location. The value of the bike is $500.

10/23/18: Petty Theft near 1700 block of Avenida Del Mundo

A black/green mountain bike, valued at $449, was reported stolen at the location.

10/29/18: Driving Under the Influence Alcohol – Misdemeanor near 1200 block of Churchill Place

35 year old male

10/28/18: Disorderly Conduct Due to Alcohol – Misdemeanor near 1500 block of Orange Avenue

22 year old male
