I am writing this letter in absolute one hundred [percent] support of Peter Jensen for election onto the Coronado City Council. Along with Peter’s many accolades and service to the state of California, as well as the cities of San Diego and Coronado in various law enforcement and civil service, he is man of high moral and ethical standards. He is without a doubt one of the most trustworthy and loyal individuals I have ever been associated with in my life. His love for Coronado and the well-being of everyone who lives there is unparalleled by anyone I have met while residing in Coronado.

On a more personal note, Peter was a key person in my family’s life while I was an active duty SEAL Commander stationed in Coronado. He and his family were mainstays in my family’s life and provided tremendous support to them when I was geographically separated from them due to orders, or on a deployment. He continues to remain extremely active in supporting our men and women who are on active duty, but in particular, the families of those stationed in Coronado and the surrounding area. Having never served in the military, but serving in many other civil service capacities, he understands the hardships that service puts on a family, and I am eternally grateful to him and his family for their love and support.

I have had the honor of meeting so many wonderful people when I was fortunate to live in Coronado, but I can honestly say that none is better than Peter. He will be an exceptional City Councilman and will serve the city in an exemplary manner. Elect him and he will be an OUTSTANDING addition.

Very Respectfully,
CAPT Geno Pauso, USN (Ret)
Commandant of Cadets
The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina
