Surfers Enjoy Waves Enhanced by Hurricane Rosa

Tropical Storm Rosa (previously Hurricane Rosa) will hopefully bring some much needed rain to the region. In the meantime, it brought some awesome waves for local surfers. Coronado was the place to be this morning to take advantage of the swell resulting from the storm. Coronado Times reader Derek Emge captured these images of surfers riding the larger than usual waves off of North Island. He estimated there must’ve been over 50 surfers in the lineup vying for the great waves.
