Coronado Turkey Trot Thanks Many Sponsors

The Coronado Unit of Rady Children’s Hospital Auxiliary would like to thank everyone who helped make the 4th Annual Coronado Turkey Trot a success. Due to the participation of our wonderful community, the 5k run in Tidelands Park sold out once again this year. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and participants, we were able to exceed last year’s donation of $50,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Center and Sleep Study Center at Rady Children’s Hospital.

The auxiliary would like to thank our generous local sponsors for helping make this race a success, as well as GEICO, who has been a National Premier Sponsor four years in a row! The insurance company not only funds vital programs and services at Rady Children’s, like the Peckham Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders and Center for Healthier Communities, but also supports the Hospital as a whole. We are very thankful for GEICO’s continued support and dedication to the health and safety of San Diego’s children.

Other Premier Corporate Sponsors included California American Water, Milberg Orthodontics, and the Port of San Diego. Platinum Sponsors included The Allan & Lyndsey Arendsee Family Foundation, Coronado Fitness Club, Mary Jo Morgan, Stacy Renshaw & Family, and Ann Suhr. Gold Sponsors included Vicky Biggins, The Clements Group, The Hart Family, and The Peterson  Family. Silver Sponsors included Cathy Brown, Coronado Lifestyle, Ann Goodfellow, Island Threads, ISLE Surf & SUP, and Charlotte & Tom Rudowicz.

A special thank you to the Werth Group for providing Starbucks coffee to participants before the race. Many early morning risers appreciated the caffeine kick before the race.

Thanks again to our community for helping make this year’s Turkey Trot the biggest and best yet!
