The City of Coronado will observe the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, November 23, and on Friday, November 24, and reminds residents and businesses of what municipal facilities will remain open and what will close.
Certain City of Coronado departments and services are open both days, some with varying hours of operation, but all non-public safety facilities are closed on Thanksgiving Day. The Library will close early on Wednesday, November 22, at 6 p.m. and the Aquatics Center at 4 p.m.
Public Services crews will not sweep streets on the holiday. EDCO will NOT perform regular residential trash collection and as a result there will be a one-day residential delay in service.
