J. R. Tolver is a San Diego based State Farm Agent and he is holding a contest to help local football programs win a $1,000 grant. J. R. sat down with CHS Football head coach, Kurt Hines, to interview him about his background, why he loves football and especially coaching his players.
Coach Hines shared that if Coronado won the grant he would spend it on the CHS weight room: “In all seriousness, without a doubt, the weight room. We have a good space at Coronado. It’s a good size room, a good structure but it’s outdated and it needs a lot of TLC. That’s something that benefits the program for years to come.”
