Nancy Ann Bernard
Nancy went to be with the Lord September 2, 2014. She was born in Kinder, Louisiana, May 2, 1958, to John Allen Young and Effie Mae Babineaux.
Survivors include her husband, Cameron Bernard; daughter, Katie Woodard; son, Donald Woodard; step-daughter, Rylie Bernard; sister, Faye Allen; sister-in-law, Trudy Young; brother-in-law, Terry Allen; and many nieces, nephews and cousins that she loved dearly.
Nancy truly had a special quality about her that made everyone she met feel like family, no matter how long they had known her. She was a shining light in this world. Her smile and her laughter will be missed.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Nancy’s life at First Baptist Church on Saturday, September 20th at 6 PM.
