THE TIDE AND SEA
By
Channing DeVoueroix
The sea’s in drag today,
Casting his frilly garments upon the shore
He struts his girliness,
Along the great sand runway;
Posing, turning, twirling here and there.
Once again he says, “Come hither!”Then pulling back with the tide
Splashing white lace,
He flirts, fondles and fantasizes along the shoreline;
Panting, he falls hard and finishes
As the tide swoops his silkiness out once more.
